WEIGHT LOSS WITH SEMAGLUTIDE
Semaglutide is a weekly subcutaneous (under the skin) injection that has been FDA approved to help manage weight loss in those with with a body mass index (BMI) of 27 kg/m2 or greater who have at least one weight-related ailment or in patients with a BMI of 30 kg/m2 or greater.
Semaglutide has been found to safely promote substantial weight loss with the brand names Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy. Pharmacies are now providing the active ingredient, Semaglutide without the high costs of the brand names.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) agonist that helps regulate appetite and food intake. Semaglutide requires a prescription and is a once weekly injection that is given just under the skin with a gradually increasing dose over a 20 week period. Clients can be instructed on how they can give these injections to themselves, by family members, or they can come to our clinic to get their injection.

Who should not take Semaglutide
