Glutathione is an IMPORTANT Antioxidant present in EVERY cell of your body!
Levels are reduced with aging, stress, malnutrition, and environmental toxins!
Glutathione aids in detox by removing electrophilic molecules and reactive peroxides from cells. By measuring levels in cells, scientists can predict lifespans 😳
Does taking Glutathione in pill form work? NO, NOT AT ALL! But effective absorption occurs with IV hydration and vitamin drip therapy!
Glutathione is 🔑 in supporting, immune function, metabolism, forming sperm cells, tissue building and repair, and helping with certain enzyme functions.
Glutathione is often used in the treatment and prevention of cataracts, glaucoma, aging, alcoholism, cancer, heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, osteoarthritis, diseases that breakdown the body’s immune system and many more!
Guess what! We offer Glutathione at Rise Up and it is included in some of our infusion prices too!

Glutathione is a commonly offered supplement provided via intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injection in infusion clinics across the country but what is it and what can it do to benefit me?
According to an article on www.Webmd.com,”our cells contain glutathione, which is a substance made from three amino acids: cysteine, glutamate, and glycine. Glutathione acts as an important antioxidant in your body. That means it helps combat free radicals. These are molecules that can damage your body's cells.”(Metcalf, 2022). Szalay, 2016, goes on to say that “free radicals are associated with human disease, including cancer, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and many others” so our bodies need all the help they can get to fight the stress of aging and other oxidative stresses we all deal with on a daily basis.
Glutathione is taken for several reasons. One of which is for its antioxidant power but it is also used to detoxify, for weakened immune systems, and it is good for your skin and wrinkles. Increasing our glutathione can be done in several ways one of which is by increasing certain foods in your diet such as:
Unprocessed meat
Garlic
Broccoli
Asparagus
Avocados
Spinach(Metcalf, 2022)
Alternatively receiving glutathione in an IV infusion clinic such as ours is a fast, safe, and effective way to receive this powerful antioxidant. Lower glutathione has been shown to lead to poorer health as we age so consider the benefits of glutathione and call our clinic today to get started.
