Prioritizing Protein in Your Diet: A Guide to Getting 100 Grams Daily for Weight Loss on GLP-1 Medications
WEIGHT LOSS WITH TRUTIDE
Trutide is a weekly subcutaneous (under the skin) injection that may soon be FDA approved for weight loss under the brand name. At Rise Up Health, Trutide is typically prescribed to help manage weight loss in those with a body mass index (BMI) of 27 kg/m2 or greater. Trutide is similar to Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. Trutide Therapy takes it a step further with a triple-action peptide formula aimed at GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon.
This powerful combination helps suppress appetite and effectively addresses challenging food cravings. It may come with less side effects, have a higher cost, and be more effective. Continue reading to find out more, or go ahead and book your free consultation!
Trutide has been found to safely promote substantial weight loss with the brand names Retratrutide, to help treat obesity and those with diabetes type 2 to help regulate blood sugar and lower HbA1c levels. Some compounding pharmacies are now providing the active ingredient, Trutide, without the high costs and low supply of the brand names.
Trutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) agonist that helps regulate appetite and food intake. It works by activating the GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors in the body to decrease hunger and promote weight loss. Like semaglutide and tirzepatide, Trutide is a once weekly injectable medication that clients can administer just under the skin.
At Rise Up, the provider will monitor your progress and help you determine how long your treatment plan will be. For sustainable weight loss, the use of Tirzepatide should be combined with a healthy low calorie diet and exercise routine. At Rise Up, we will help guide you to a routine that is right for you!
Who should not take Trutide
You should NOT take Trutide if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan on becoming pregnant in the next few months. You should also not take Trutide if you have a history of pancreatitis, multiple endocrine neoplasia, medullary thyroid carcinoma, or are taking insulin lowering medications.
Trutide may still cause GI upset, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and gas, but typically resolve over time. Rise Up will also coach clients on the proper nutrition and eating habits to prevent GI symptoms.
