Prioritizing Protein in Your Diet: A Guide to Getting 100 Grams Daily for Weight Loss on GLP-1 Medications
Semaglutide has been found to safely promote substantial weight loss with the brand names Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy. Some compounding pharmacies are now providing the active ingredient, Semaglutide, without the high costs of the brand names.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) agonist that helps regulate appetite and food intake. Semaglutide requires a prescription and is a once weekly injection that is given just under the skin with a gradually increasing dose over a 12 to 20 week period. Clients can be instructed on how they can give these injections to themselves, by family members, or they can come to our clinic to get their injection.
At Rise Up, the provider will monitor your progress and help you determine how long your treatment plan will be. For sustainable weight loss, the use of Semaglutide should be combined with a healthy low calorie diet and exercise routine. At Rise Up, we will help guide you to a routine that is right for you!
